I got up this morning around 6:30 AM. I got up and got myself a glass of apple cider and sat in our living room across from Carol seeking to wake up. Carol mentioned to me she wanted oatmeal for breakfast. I had not made oatmeal since last Winter, so I made for us for breakfast a pot of oatmeal. After breakfast I wrote in my paper diary and Carol left for a Woman's Bible Study at Covenant PCA. While Carol was gone I read and wrote in my paper diary. I also left around 10 o'clock AM to get my hair cut and when I got home I trimmed my beard.
I mainly read this morning and into the afternoon hours Volume 1 of a two volume set titled, 'Christ's Prayer Before His Passion-Expository Sermons on John 17' by Anthony Burgess. Thus far has gone by my day. Do not know what I will get into book wise the rest of this cold gray day.
Last night I read late into the night Volume 1 of Anthony Burgess work 'Spiritual Refining Or A Treatise of Grace and Assurance'.
Yesterday late afternoon UPS delivered a book I had pre-ordered titled, 'Lady Macbeth Of Mtsensk' Selected Stories Of Nikolai Leskov Translated by Donald Rayfield.
I will close to drift. Tomorrow we enter the middle of the month.
