Siri Hustvedt is a novelist, poet and academic whose work has received numerous recognitions and has been translated into over thirty languages. Her latest book, ‘A Woman Looking at Men Looking at Women,’ is already longlisted for the 2017 PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award for the Art of the Essay.

Siri appears in conversation with Jason Tougaw, author of ‘Touching Brains: Literary Experiments in 21st-Century Neuromania’ (forthcoming from Yale University Press) and ‘Strange Cases: The Medical Case History of the British Novel.’ He is an Associate Professor of English at Queens College and the CUNY Graduate Center.
