Due to the coming thunderstorm Carol's Retirement Party has been moved to her niece's place. Carol's niece Wendy has a big garage that can hold 25 people. It looks like this Party is going to be mainly a Family event.
So life around here has been different due to having grandchildren running around screaming for food mainly. Last night we all had a meal down at our oldest son's place down the street. We all ate outside in his driveway under trees. It was a nice time. The kids ran around playing and screaming for food.
Today has been a blur for me. I did find time this afternoon to film a video for my Youtube channel Friday Reads. Today I have been mainly reading from a book titled, 'The Book of Disquiet' By Fernando Pessoa Edited by Jeronimo Pizarro Translated from the Portuguese by Margaret Jull Costa.
There is not much else to report. Right now it is difficult to hear myself think due to living in a thick fog of exhaustion.
I have been reading for morning worship mainly from this book, 'Biblical Theology According to the Apostles: How the earliest Christians told the story of Israel' by Chris Bruno, Jared Compton and Kevin McFadden [New Studies In Biblical Theology]. I also have been reading from a book titled, 'Boswell's Presumptuous Task: The Making of the Life of Dr. Johnson' By Adam Sisman.
Well I will close to drift. Wait for the Party to begin.
