I got up this morning around 6:10 AM. Carol had gotten up around 4 o'clock AM this morning. Last night she went to bed around 8:30 AM. I stayed up till 11 o'clock PM reading from these two books, 'The Eye You See With: Selected Nonfiction' by Robert Stone Edited By Madison Smartt Bell and 'Child Of Light: A Biography Of Robert Stone' by Madison Smartt Bell.
This morning for devotions I read from these two books, 'The Story Retold: A Biblical-Theological Introduction To The New Testament' by G.K. Beale & Benjamin L. Gladd and 'Canon, Covenant and Christology: Rethinking Jesus and the Scripture of Israel' by Matthew Barrett.
There is not much going on around here. It is a blessing having Carol home and not being out in Denver this week. Our daughter in Denver texted last night that everything is shut down. The public schools are closed till April 20th.
I wonder how long our American economy even the world economy can take a long period of complete inactivity/no production. How bad will it get before we find ourselves in a state of complete collapse? Will America go to war with Iran? All is unknown these days.
Well I suppose I will close to drift through the day. Carol is baking and cooking these days to keep herself busy. Carol feels good when she is productive/spreading good cheer.
