The Book Of Kells

It is 2:25 PM Monday afternoon here in West Michigan. It is a cold gray windy day. When I was driving home from the Book Nook this afternoon it was raining ice. The ice is predicted to turn to snow this evening and snow all night and all day tomorrow.

I had a normal time at the Book Nook today. When not helping people with their purchases and read. I brought home from the Book Nook today these used books to add to our library-

'The Book Of Kells' An Illustrated Introduction To The Manuscript In Trinity College Dublin by Bernard Meehan

'Van Gogh and Gauguin: The Studio of the South' Highlights of the Exhibition THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO

'The Complete Woodcuts of Albrecht Durer' Edited By Dr. Willi Kurth

'Cleopatra of Egypt from History To Myth' Edited by Susan Walker and Peter Higgs

'Theatre' A Novel by W Somerset Maugham

'Fiona Range' A Novel by Mary McGarry Morris

'Wuthering Heights' A Novel by Emily Bronte A Norton Critical Edition

'The Keys Of Egypt: The Obsession to Decipher Egyptian Hieroglyphs' non-fiction by Lesley & Roy Adkins

'My Father's Tears and other stories' by John Updike

'At Swim Two Boys' A Novel by Jamie O'Neill

'Riven Rock' A Novel by T.C. Boyle

'The Voyage' A Novel by Philip Caputo

When I got home this afternoon I found Carol's car gone. She was having lunch with Gail and Deb. She got home though soon after I did. When I got home I ate lunch and messed with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my diary. I did not get around to writing in my paper diary this morning because Carol and I went grocery shopping.

I did received in the mail two books I had ordered from Amazon-

'Life In A Cold Climate: Nancy Mitford: The Biography' by Laura Thompson

'To Hell And Back: Europe 1914-1949' European History by Ian Kershaw

Last night we watched professional football and went to bed around 10:30 PM. I read late into the night from a crime novel titled, 'Bangkok 8' by John Burdett.

Today at the Book Nook I read from a book titled, 'Parisian Lives: Samuel Beckett, Simone De Beauvoir And Me' A Memoir by Deirdre Bair.

Well I am extremely tired so I will close to feel blown out!
