tiredI am still have not woken up to this day. In my old age it takes most of the day for me to wake up.
This morning Ollie Caleb's dog broke into our bedroom and woke me up. The time was 6:45 AM so I got out of the bed. Carol was already up when I got up to face existence. So I got up got a can of ice water and sat in the living room with my eyes closed dozing and thinking about a million things. After awhile I got up went to the kitchen and fixed myself two eggs for a morning meal. That was fun!
After breakfast I wrote in my paper diary and messed with our main computer. After messing with our main computer I took Ollie for a walk around our neighborhood. We have been living in this neighborhood going on 29 years. Carol and I have been married 40 years. Most of our married life has been spent inside this house. My desire is to die in this house. Carol and I desire to grow old in this house.
This morning I have read for devotions from a book titled, 'Biblical Spirituality' Edited by Christopher W. Morgan. Last night I mainly read from a novel titled, 'Abel And Cain' by Gregor Von Rezzori. I got two books delivered yesterday-
'Night Train To Sugar Hill' a novel by Iceberg Slim
'George Marshall: Defender Of The Republic' by David L. Roll
Well I am tired so I will close to go visit local thrift stores in search of used books.
