I think I already mentioned that I did some yard work today. I think I have not mentioned that I did finally decide to go to Staples Office Supply Store to get ink for our printer. I also got pens and paper at Staples. While out running around I visited Goodwill Thrift Store and Salvation Army Thrift store in search of used books to ADD to our library. I found these used books today-
'Taken Care Of The Autobiography of Edith Sitwell' Edith Sitwell
'The Erasers' A Novel by Alain Robbe-Grillet Translated from the French by Richard Howard
'Pagan Babies' A Novel by Greg Johnson
'Why Americans Hate Politics' by E. J. Dionne, Jr.
'America's Queen: The Life of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis' by Sarah Bradford
'The Fifty-Year Wound: The True Price Of America's Cold War Victory' by Derek Leebaert
'A Doubter's Almanac' A Novel by Ethan Canin
'Grand Pursuit: The Story of Economic Genius' by Sylvia Nasar
When I got home from my errands it was going on 4:30 PM. Carol decided to get up early so she was up around 4:35 AM. She usually gets up around 6:30 PM. She said she could not sleep any longer so she got up. It is going to be a very long work shift for my wife tonight. Carol works 12 hour shifts at a near by community hospital. Carol is a Rapid Response nurse.
It seems these days hospitals are filled with suicidal people and alcoholics. It is crazy that most hospital beds are taken up with people who either want to commit suicide or drink themselves to death.
Amazon delivered to our door this evening two novels I had recently ordered-
'Tears Of The Trufflepig' a novel by Fernando A. Flores
'A Brief History of Portable Literature' a novel by Enrique Vila-Matas Translated from the Spanish by Anne McLean & Thomas Bunstead
Well, it has been a long day so I will close to prepare to end it all.
