I got up this morning around 6:30 AM. I remember having a dream where I was crossing the Red Sea with Moses and children of Abraham. "They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!" Rev. 15:3.
So I got up and got myself a glass of apple cider and messed with our main computer for awhile. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and then had for breakfast frozen waffles. After breakfast I read from these books for morning worship-
'An Ocean Of Light: Contemplation, Transformation, and Liberation' by Martin Laird
'John Ruusbroec: The Spiritual Espousals And Other Works' [The Classics Of Western Spirituality]
'The Works of William Perkins' Volume 6
Carol got home from work around 8:36 AM and went to bed around 9:30 AM. She works tonight and I think also tomorrow night.
Last night I wrote about Carol's older brother's Memorial Service. Dave died last Wednesday due to health problems suffered over many years. I wrote about Dave's Memorial Service, but did not write about what I did after the service. After the Memorial Service I headed home but on the way I stopped at thrift stores to look at their used books. I found these used books yesterday at a Salvation Army thrift store-
'Ideas and Opinions' by Albert Einstein
'The Anatomy School' a novel by Bernard MacLaverty
'The Weather In Berlin' a novel by Ward Just
'The Paying Guests' a novel by Sarah Waters
So it is a Wednesday in the death flow. Last night I read late into the night the book, 'An Ocean Of Light' by Laird. Carol got up around 10:35 PM to get ready to go to work. She left for work around 11:30 PM and I went to bed soon after she left. Now it is another day. I plan to drift through this day. Read my books and hope for sunny days to come.
