This afternoon I forced myself to go for a walk at VanRaalte Farm county park. This park is only about a five minute drive from our house. I have been walking at VanRaalte for many years and therefore find it boring to walk there. At this county park I see the same old things and there is nothing new to take photos of except the change of seasons or the way the light falls. So I drove over to VanRaalte and walked taking photos. Everything was extremely dry and there were a ton of mosquitoes!
On the way home from VanRaalte I visited a thrift store and found two used books to add to our library-
'Washington Story' a novel by Adam Langer
'The Hotel' a novel by Elizabeth Bowen
I also bought a used CD by the Foo Fighters 'There Is Nothing Left To Lose'. Now I am home recovering from my walk.

It looks so beautiful and serene.
