Carol and I left this morning to visit Grand Haven's Public Library used books store Cheap Stacks. I bought these used books this morning at Cheap Stacks-
'Fabulous Small Jews' Short Stories by Joseph Epstein
'From Bondage' a novel by Henry Roth (Volume III: Mercy of a Rude Stream)
'Think. . .' a novel by David Lodge
'Mostly Morgenthaus: A Family History' Foreword By Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. by Henry Morgenthan III
'Blue Belle' Crime Fiction by Andrew Vachss
'Sacrifice' Crime Fiction by Andrew Vachss
After visiting Cheap Stacks we drove back to Holland and had lunch at a Mexican restaurant. So has gone this day thus far. Carol is about to lay down to take a nap and I plan to sit and wait to see what comes in the mail this afternoon.
This morning we were up early and I did the usual activities for the early morning hours. I read this morning after writing in my paper diary from a book titled, 'Seeing God: The Beatific Vision in Christian Tradition' by Hans Boersma. Yesterday I mainly read 'The Scarlet Tree' autobiography by Osbert Sitwell.
