the age of instant gratification
1st-Jun-2018 04:16 pm
It is in the ongoing death flow 4 o'clock PM Friday late afternoon. It has been a warm sunny late Spring day. It is the first day of June 2018. We will soon be in the Summer season once again.

I got up this morning around 7:37 AM. Carol was already up when I came out of our bedroom. I had a glass of orange juice and melon for breakfast. After breakfast I messed with our main computer and then got to talking to Carol. I left for the Book Nook around 9:45 AM. The Book Nook was not busy so I read from a book titled, 'Churchill & Orwell: The Fight For Freedom' by Thomas E. Ricks. I brought home from the Book Nook one used book titled, 'The Impulse Society: America in the Age of Instant Gratification' by Paul Roberts.

When I got home from the Book Nook I ate lunch and soon Carol arrived home from visiting a friend and going grocery shopping. I decided to mow our lawn so I did that. So has gone by existence.

Last night Carol and I watched taped television shows and went to bed around 10:45 PM. Now it is another day. I mainly read this morning and last night 'The Rising Gorge' occasional writings by S. J. Perelman.

Well I suppose I will close to drift. Tomorrow is a Saturday in the death flow.
