We got home from grocery shopping around 9 o'clock AM. We wrapped up some books to be mailed to a fellow Booktuber who is a librarian in a small town in Vermont. We donated some of our books to the Weatherfield Proctor Library located in a small town in Vermont. I volunteer at our local library used books store The Book Nook on Mondays, so before going to the library I drove to our local Post Office and mailed those books to Weatherfield Proctor Library.
The Book Nook today was not slow and not busy. I had a long conversation with an elderly Christian fellow and when not helping folks I read from a book titled, 'Palimpsest: A Memoir' by Gore Vidal. I brought home from the Book Nook one used book for our library titled, 'The Changing Garden: Four Centuries Of European And American Art' by Betsy G. Fryberger.
When I got home from the Book Nook Carol was walking up our house after going for a walk. She has gone to bed since she works tonight. Well I am totally out of gas so I will close to feel wasted.
I posted in my online diary pictures I took this morning. While we were driving to a grocery store this morning the sun was coming up and we drove into a parking lot that was near a pond. As the sun was coming up over a line of trees one could see morning sunlight being reflected on the icy surface of this pond. As we were driving out of this large parking lot we saw an egret on a broken tree limb asleep extended over another pond. Cold morning mist was rising up off the pond as I took some photos of this egret. I did not have my most powerful camera so the photos of this egret are blurry.
"[13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
[14] That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:13,14
