Outdoor Discovery Center Birds Of Prey

This morning when I took a walk at Outdoor Discovery Center I came across a new exhibit called Birds Of Prey. The new exhibit was a building that had been newly built to house wild birds. These birds had at one time been at another site within the Outdoor Discovery Center County Park. All the people at the park had done is glamorized the Birds of Prey exhibit by building a bigger building and constructing a stone semi-circle for people to sit, as park people showed off birds of prey. All the birds at the Birds Of Prey had been rescued at one time and would not have survived in the wild due to their injuries. My view is that these injured birds should have been allowed to die. I personally find any bird or animal behind bars depressing. It is sad to see for example a majestic bald eagle behind bars in a small cage hoping around with no way to fly up into the deep blue sky. Does that eagle look through his cage bars up into the blue sky and long to fly? Do these birds of prey get fresh meat? I find it depressing seeing these beautiful birds behind bars in small cages so human beings can stare at them. How degrading it must be for those birds.
