Friday Reads 3/26/2018
It is 8:27 PM Friday night here in West Michigan. I just made a video for my Booktube channel/Friday Reads. I will list the books I mentioned in this video so I can paste this list below my video in Booktube tomorrow morning.
'Echoes of Exodus: Tracing a Biblical Motif' by Bryan D. Estelle
'Paul: A Biography' by N. T. Wright
'The Invented Part' a novel by Rodrigo Fresan Translated From The Spanish By Will Vanderhyden
'The Royal Family' a novel by William T. Vollmann
'Genet: A Biography' by Edmund White
'Nocturnes For The King Of Naples' a novel by Edmund White
'A Boy's Own Story' a novel by Edmund White
'Marshal McLuhan: The Medium And The Message' a biography by Philip Marchand
'With William Burroughs: A Report From The Bunker' by Victor Bockris
'The Collected Poems Of Langston Hughes' Editor Arnold Rampersad
'The Last Good Kiss' a novel by James Crumley
'Ford Madox Ford' a biography by Alan Judd
'Girls Lean Back Everywhere: The Law Of Obscenity And The Assault On Genius' by Edward de Grazia
These are the books I mentioned in tonight's Booktube video. I forgot to show the folks this volume, 'The Brontes Wild Genius on the Moors: The Story of a Literary Family' biography by Juliet Barker.
This afternoon and this evening I have been reading,'The Invented Part' a novel by Rodrigo Fresan Translated From The Spanish By Will Vanderhyden. I am not sure what I will read next/before I go to bed. Carol left for work early tonight because a nurse wanted off early so she could go home and watch basketball with her husband. So my wife will work 14 hours straight tonight. It is amazing what one can do in 14 hours!
I did go to the Book Nook at 9:40 AM this morning. At the Book Nook I read 'The Invented Part' a novel by Rodrigo Fresan Translated From The Spanish By Will Vanderhyden and wandered the store. For my free book I bought home 'Ford Madox For' a biography by Alan Judd.
Well I am fading so I will close to wait to go to bed. Tomorrow is a Saturday.
