the High Priesthood of Christ

It is 10:32 AM Sunday morning here in West Michigan. This morning the sun is once again shining. It is the last Sunday of January 2018. Next Sunday we will be in the month of February 2018.

I got up this morning around 6:33 AM. When I got up I found my wife in our living room reading William Perkins on the Lord's Prayer. I made for us a pot of oatmeal and a fresh pot of coffee.

After breakfast we went to Meijer's grocery store and then to Reader's World Bookstore.

Carol went to Covenant PCA this morning. After she left I cleaned the kitchen and wrote in my paper diary.

I have nothing to do today but wait for tomorrow to come.

Last night I hardly remember right now. Time keeps crawling by.

"[11] But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
[12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
[13] For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
[14] How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" Hebrews 9:11-14
