Re: pessimist
After the Day of Judgment 'a terrible end' there is eternal life-I suppose I see life in this world as one of tribulation and when this life of suffering is over I will receive a crown of glory-one could see our library as hoarding but every book lover I have known has too many books-I could in one day get rid of our books by calling our local library-I recently talked to someone at our local library telling them I might in the future donate a couple thousand books to the library-sell them at their yearly Friends of the Library used books sale-for the time being I will collect and enjoy learning new things from used books-I live because I am suppose to live-all one can do is do what needs to be done each day-right now I am just living a simple Christian life-I am retired and am enjoying simple things like watching birds, going for country walks or going out to Lake Michigan to watch the waves-I am not really a lover of this sin cursed world-everything around me is passing away-the only thing that will matter when the Lord calls me Home is a living faith in a Risen Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. You and I have a different view of what life is-that is normal-I myself can't live without the strength of the Lord-when I am weak then I am strong in the Lord. Well thanks for sharing with me your personal beliefs on what it means to live on this earth. peace

When one by one our treasured hopes
Like autumn leaves decay,
And they who made our life most dear
Are borne from us away,
O look beyond the veil of time,
Where springs of comfort flow,
And trust His Word, that changeth not,
Though uttered years ago.

Re: pessimist
So you are sane and I am insane. I am considered by you to be a fool and delusional. Well I suppose I will have to just keep on loving the Lord Jesus and you keep believing in Darwinism.
