the struggle to shape America

It is in the cold icy death flow 12:12 PM Monday noon. I left this morning the house to pick up a prescription and while out I visited thrift stores in search of used books to add to our library. I found these used books this morning for our book collection.

'The Wonder' a novel by Emma Donoghue

'The German War: A Nation Under Arms 1939-1945' by Nicholas Stargardt

'How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe' a novel by Charles Yu

'John Brown: The Making of a Martyr' biography by Robert Penn Warren

'Jack: C. S. Lewis And His Times' biography by George Sayer

'American Nations: A History of Eleven Rival Regional Cultures Of North America' by Colin Woodard

'The Short' historical fiction by Philip Kerr

'Devil May Care' The New James Bond Novel by Sebastian Faulks writings a Ian Fleming

'The Heretic In Darwin's Court: The Life of Alfred Russel Wallace' biography by Ross A. Slotten

'Dusklands' novella's by J. M. Coetzee

'My Heart Laid Bare' a novel by Joyce Carol Oates

After picking up my prescription and visiting thrift stores I came home. Carol left this morning to hang out with two of her cousins.

Before leaving this morning I read some of the book, 'The Evangelicals: The Struggle To Shape America' by Frances Fitzgerald. There is not much else to report so I will close to write in my paper diary and make a fresh pot of coffee. Existence keeps decaying faster and faster!
