Used Books Haul 8/22/2017

It is 12:06 PM Tuesday afternoon here by Lake Michigan. It is a gray humid dark cloudy afternoon. I left our home in the Wasteland to get groceries and to visit near by thrift stores in search of used books to add to our small town library. I found these used books today-

'The Vampire Tapestry' Horror Fantasy by Suzy McKee Charnas

'The Collected Dorothy Parker' Dorothy Parker [Modern Penguin Classics]

'The Rotter's Club' British Fiction by Jonathan Coe

'The Master and Margarita' a novel by Mikhail Bulgakov Translated with Notes by Richard Pevear & Larissa Volokhonsky

'Touching the Altar: The Old Testament for Christian Worship' Editor Carol M. Bechtel

'One of the Family' a memoir by Wendy W. Fairey

'Let's Take The Long Way Home: A Memoir of Friendship' by Gail Caldwell

'One Hundred Names For Love: A Stroke, A Marriage, And The Language Of Healing' by Diane Ackerman

'Churchill: The Unruly Giant' a biography by Norman Rose

'An Instance of the Fingerpost' Historical Fiction by Iain Pears

'The Tragedy of Lyndon Johnson' biography by Eric F. Goldman

'Ecclesiastical History' by Eusebius Translated by C. F. Cruse

After getting food supplies and visiting near by thrift stores I came home to wait for nightfall. I will close to eat lunch and wait to see what comes in the mail. Yesterday in the mail I received from Gospel Missions Volumes 7, 8, & 9 of the Grove Chapel Pulpit Sermons of Joseph Irons. I am expecting in the mail a used biography on of the life of the philosopher Isaiah Berlin this week.

Well time to push the panic button.
