a used bookstore haul

It is 6:31 PM Wednesday evening here by Lake Michigan. I have had thus far a normal day. It will soon be night time. Tomorrow is a Thursday in the flow of the week.

I won't go into details on what I did today. I will just mention that my friend Tim and I drove to Grand Haven to visit their library used bookstore Cheapstacks. I bought these used books today to ADD to our library-

'Nathaniel Hawthorne' biography by George E. Woodberry

'A Voice From The River' a novel by Dan Gerber

'Trollope: A Biography' by N. John Hall

'Simone De Beauvoir a life. . .a love story' biography by Chaude Francis & Fernande Goatier Translated from the French by Lisa Nesselson

'Old Man Goya' biography by Julia Blackburn

'Memento Mori' a novel by Muriel Spark

'The Secret Scripture' a novel by Sebastian Barry

'Second Skin' a novel by John Hawkes

'All The Little Live Things' a novel by Wallace Stegner

'The People And Uncollected Stories' by Bernard Malamud

'Without Fear Or Favor An Uncompromising Look at The New York Times' Journalism by Harrison E. Salisbury

'Patrick O'Brian' biography by Dean King

'Post Captain' historical fiction by Patrick O'Brian

'The Woman at the Washington Zoo: Writings On Politics, Family, And Fate' by Marjorie Williams Edited by Timothy Noah

I was home from this trip around 12:30 PM. I have done nothing this afternoon and evening but sweat. It is very hot and humid this evening.

I suppose I will close to look for someplace cool.
