I have had thus far a normal middle class day. It would be a sin for me to complain about my life in this fallen world. We must cultivate a thankful heart in this world of woe.
I got up this morning around 6:30 AM. I got up made a pot of coffee and messed with our main computer. Carol got up soon after I did.
This morning Carol left to visit her brother Dave and his wife Gail. I stayed home and read. I also wrote in my paper diary and then decided to go visit local thrift stores to search for used books to add to our library. This morning I only found three used books for my book collection-
'The Indian In America' Native American history by Wilcomb E. Washburn
'Vengeance' a crime novel by Benjamin Black
'I Always Loved You' A Story of Mary Cassatt and Edgar Degas historical fiction by Robin Oliveira
I was home by 12 o'clock PM. I ate lunch and Carol arrived home from her visit. I decided to mow the lawn and do yard work after I ate lunch. Now it is 3:56 PM and I am ready to give up the ghost.
I have mainly read from these books today when not praying for relief from existence-
'Sons in the Son: The Riches and Reach of Adoption in Christ' by David B. Garner
'Samuel Pepys: The Unequalled Self' biography by Claire Tomalin
Carol went to bed around 3 o'clock PM to take a nap, because she goes back to work after being off four nights.
Last night I mainly read and went to bed around 10:30 PM. I will close to face the approaching end of the world.
