salvation by grace alone

It is 2:17 PM Saturday afternoon. It is a warm breezy afternoon. Everything is drying up. We need rain here in West Michigan.

I volunteered at the local library used bookstore from 10 o'clock AM till 1:30 PM. It was busy at the store today. When not helping people with their purchases I read from a book titled, 'William Perkins' biography by Joel Beeke & Stephen Yulle. I brought home from the Book Nook these two used books to add to our library-

'The Little Red Chairs' a novel by Edna O'Brien

'The Queen of the Nighg' a novel by Alexander Chee

When I got home from the Book Nook I found Carol cleaning windows and in the mail I received two books I had ordered-

'Darkmans' a novel by Nicola Barker

'The Spiritual Brotherhood: Cambridge Puritans and the Nature of Christian Piety' by Paul R. Schaefer Jr.

So Time goes by. I plan to do nothing rest of the day. I need to write some more stuff in my paper diary before this day comes to a close.

Last night I made a video for my BookTube channel and read William Perkins. I also read last night before going to sleep from a book titled, 'The Closing of the Western Mind: The Rise Of Faith And The Fall Of Reason' by Charles Freeman.

I will close to face the end of it all.
