I had a normal day thus far. I left for the library Book Nook (Used Books Store) around 9:45 AM. The Book Nook was not super busy, but enough people came into the store to keep me from falling asleep. When not helping people with their used items I read from these two books-
"Aubrey's Brief Lives" (The Penguin English Library) Edited By Oliver Lawson Dick/in this volume is a short biography on the life and times of John Aubrey written by Oliver Lawson Dick
"John Aubrey, My Own Life" biography by Ruth Scurr
I brought home from the library Used Books Store these used books to ADD to our library-
"In the Presence of the Creator: Isaac Newton & His Times" biography by Gale E. Christianson
"Samuel Johnson" biography by W. Jackson Bate
"The Age Of Arthur: A History Of The British Isles From 350 To 650" by John Morris
"Oxford Astronomy Encyclopedia" Sir Patrick Moore, General Editor
I got home from the Book Nook around 1:20 PM. When I got home I wrote in my paper diary and made a fresh pot of coffee.
This afternoon around 3:30 PM my wife and I took a long walk downtown and on the way home picked up take-out Chinese for dinner. So has gone by another day of existence in Jungle Land.
I am too full of Chinese food to do anything but sit and wait for bedtime to arrive. Tomorrow I go back to the library Book Nook to do my regular shift from 10 o'clock AM till 1 o'clock PM. We plan to watch professional football this weekend. Existence keeps speeding by!
