substituting earthly shadow for heavenly reality is worldiness
It is 2:14 PM Saturday afternoon in the flow. Outside this afternoon it is a windy sunny cloudy day.
This morning I volunteered at the Herrick District Public Library Used Books Store from 10 AM till 12:50 PM. While at the book nook when not helping people I read from the book "Sea Battles On Dry Land" Essays by Harold Brodkey. I brought home these used books from the book nook to ADD to our library-
"Jerzy Kosinski" biography by James Park Sloan
"Above the Waterfall" a novel by Ron Rash
"H Is For Hawk" a memoir by Helen Macdonald
"Life After Life" a novel by Kate Atkinson
"The Complete Tales of Washington Irving"
Since getting home from the library nook I have basically watched college football on TV. Not much else to report so I will close.
"[12] Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
[13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
[14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
[15] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
[16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
[17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." Colossians 1:12-17
