I went to the library used books store to volunteer around 9:41 AM and was home by 1:10 PM. The used books store was very quiet today, hardly anyone came into the store to buy used items. I wandered the store and read from a book titled, "Brothers Of The Quill: Oliver Goldsmith in Grub Street" by Norma Clarke. I also read a couple of chapters of the novel "City On Fire" by Garth Risk Hallberg. I brought home from the used books store these used books to add to our library-
"This Is It and Other Essays on Zen and Spiritual Experiences" by Alan Watts
"The Quick: A Novel" by Lauren Owen
"Perfidia" a novel by James Ellroy
When I got home from the used books store Carol was in the kitchen. I ate food and wrote in my paper diary. Well there is nothing else to report. I am tired as usual. I am not in the mood to watch college football. I have been sitting in the dining room doing nothing, drinking water and waiting for It to happen. Do not know when Carol will be home. My wife is a talker so she could be home when it is dark. I do not like to talk, because there is nothing to say. I am a writer and I write about nothing. There is nothing.
