used books bag sale

This afternoon I helped packed the used books that did not sale at the Friends of the Library used books sale. I filled a paper bag of used books as I was packing used books. These are the used books I found for five dollars this afternoon-

"In The Flesh" tales horror fantasy by Clive Barker

"The Ice Storm" a novel by Rick Moody

"Collected Short Stories: Volume 2" by W. Somerset Maugham

"The House on Mango Street" by Sandra Cisneros

In the mail today I received two new books-

"Brothers Of The Quill: Oliver Goldsmith in Grub Street" biography Norma Clarke

"The Civil Wars of Julia Ward Howe" A Biography by Elaine Showalter

So the day went by. Before going to the library I mainly read THE ASCENT OF MOUNT CARMEL by St. John of the Cross. I suppose I will close to go feast on my plastic TV dinner. Life can't get any better!
