a passion for the past

It is now 2:39 PM Tuesday afternoon. A warm day here by Lake Michigan. It is suppose to get in the 80's this week.

I did go to local thrift stores today and found these used books to ADD to our library-

"Middlemarch" a novel by George Eliot (I already have this classic novel but this edition was a nice paperback edition)

"Mortal Mischief" Crime Fiction by Frank Tallis (we have another crime fiction by Tallis in our library titled, "Vienna Secrets")

"Son of A Gun" a memoir by Justin St. Germain

"A Fool's Alphabet" a novel by Sebastian Faulks

"Einstein In Love-A Scientific Romance" biography by Dennis Overbye

"American Life-One Man's Road to Watergate" memoir by Jeb Stuart Magruder

"God's And Heroes-Myths And Epics Of Ancient Greece" Gustar Schwab

"Big Chief Elizabeth: The Adventures and Fate of the First English Colonists in America" by Giles Milton

In the mail this afternoon I received three books I had ordered from Amazon-

"Edward Dorn: A World of Difference" biography by Tom Clark

"Blake" biography by Peter Ackroyd

"Albion: The Origins of The English Imagination" by Peter Ackroyd

These are the books I added to our library today.
