I did doze this morning from 10:30 AM till Noon in an easy chair in our living room. I woke myself up got a cup of coffee and toasted myself an english muffin. After the english muffin was toasted I smeared it with peanut butter. That was lunch for me.
I spent the afternoon listening to music, wandering my cell, and reading from a book titled, "Iris Murdoch: A Life" by Peter J. Conradi. My wife got home from her wanderings around 4 o'clock PM. Right now my wife is sleeping. I laid down in the lower level from 4:30 PM till 5:30 PM. Existence keeps flowing by. Tomorrow morning my wife and I are going grocery shopping in the morning. We have to buy food that will last me 12 days, because my wife is flying out West this coming Monday morning. My wife is leaving me for a couple of weeks to visit our daughter Beth and her family/husband Andy, granddaughters Louisa and Margaret. I will be here at home waiting it out.
I have no plans for the evening hours. I suppose I will close to wait for it to happen. I hear my wife getting up to face it.
"[18] We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
[19] And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
[20] And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
[21] Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen." First John 5:18-21
