a meditation on America's waning age of manned spaceflight

It is in the snow flow 1:34 PM Saturday afternoon. I am home from volunteering at the Herrick District Public Library Used Books Store from 10 AM till 1 PM. I had a normal time at the book nook. When not helping people I wandered the store and read the novel "City On Fire" by Hallberg.

When I got home from the book nook I ate lunch and have been watching college football. Carol went to a baby shower and is not home yet. Outside it is snowing. The earth is covered with deadly ice.

I brought home from the book nook these used books to add to our family Christian library-

“James Joyce’s Ulysses: A Study” by Stuard Gilbert

“Cosmopolis” a novel by Don DeLillo

“Let Me Be Frank With You” a novel by Richard Ford

There is not much else to report so I will close to watch college football.
