  • Mood:

the dark elements of the unconscious

It is 8:40 AM Thursday morning here by Lake Michigan. It is another sunny early Autumn day. It has been in the 80's lately, but not humid. I feel like I have not woken up yet. I might this morning doze in the living room easy chair. It is a blessing not having to be out in the world/in the rat race. I love a very slow pace of life/I hate being busy or having to do anything. I like just floating through life even though I often wonder if I am wasting my spiritual gifts. I was taught to be always busy doing the Lord's work and not sitting in contemplative stillness. It is all a mystery to me the Christian life in America. So much of what I see seems so fake.

I got up this morning around 6:35 AM. I made myself a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of tea. I ate my oatmeal messing with the main computer. After messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and then fed the birds.

This afternoon my wife flies into Grand Rapids around 2:55 PM. She said to pick her up around 3:30 PM this afternoon. It will be good to have my wife home once again. Love is a strange thing.

Last night I sat and read till 10 o'clock PM and then I went to bed. I read last night from these two books, "William Gallis" by Moore and "Anti-Oedipus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia" by Deleuze & Guattari. I am not in the mood to read this morning due to being tired and having too much stuff on my mind. I want to just sit and drift this morning.

Well I will close to face what may.
