Tomorrow morning Beth and Andy are going to the hospital to have their second child. Carol will be there to watch Louisa Mae while Beth and Andy are at the hospital. If the baby is a boy they are going to name him Jack and if it is a girl Margaret. I wonder if Carol and I's third grandchild will be a baby boy. We all will soon know.
I have been reading since I last wrote, "Forbidden Territory And Realms Of Strife" a memoir by Juan Goytisolo. I also left the house to go to a local grocery store to get food items. After getting a few food items I went to a Goodwill Thrift store and found two used books (paid $1.72 for these two used books) to add to our library-
"Aiding And Abetting" a novel by Muriel Sparks
"Dangerous Muse: The Life of Lady Caroline Blackwood" a biography by Nancy Schoenberger (Lady Caroline Blackwood was married to the poet Robert Lowell.)
I received from Amazon this afternoon a book I had ordered titled, "Memoirs Of My Nervous Illness" (New York Review Books Classic) by Daniel Paul Schreber.
Not much else to report. I have to keep reminding myself Carol is not coming home till September 17, 2015. I am alone till she comes back to Holland Michigan to take up her life once again with me and our dog Rudy. I keep waiting for my wife to appear but there is nothing/no appearance.
Brother Tim never showed up this afternoon. I suppose he got busy doing something else this afternoon.
I will close to drift into the darkness. We are all headed for blackness/night.
