dead and gone

It is now in the flow of decay 2:28 PM Saturday afternoon. The day goes by quickly and quietly.

I had a normal time volunteering at the Herrick District Public Library used books store from 10 AM till 1 PM. Before going to the book nook I checked a novel out of the library titled, "There But For The" a novel by Ali Smith. I never heard of the writer Ali Smith until watching a video by Jen Campbell who raved about this novel, so I decided to check it out. While at the book nook my friend Brother Tim came in and we had a nice chat. Also at the book nook I read a novel I started awhile back titled, "Almanac Of The Dead" a novel by Leslie Marmon Silko. When I was reading this novel I really enjoyed its grittiness and dark subject matter. I brought home from the book nook these used books to ADD to our library.

"Dead And Gone" A Burke Novel by Andrew Vachss

"Emily Alone" a novel by Steward O'Nan

"The Frozen Leopard - Hunting My Dark Heart in Africa" travel memoir by Aaron Latham

"Ship Of Fools" a novel by Katherine Anne Porter

When I got home from the book nook I found Carol home baking a blueberry pie and blueberry muffins. Nothing wild came in the mail today. So time keeps marching by. I suppose I will close to water my wildflower garden and wait for it all to come crashing down.
