I mowed our lawn this afternoon. That was a chore! As I was mowing I got very weak so I stopped and came into the house and ate some food. I decided not to mow every part of our lawn since I lost the will to complete the task. So I put away the lawn mower and cleaned up.
After I dropped off Rudy I did visit a thrift store and an office supply store. I found these used books today to add to our library.
"The Social Animal: A Story of How Success Happens" by David Brooks
"This Wild Darkness: The Story Of My Death" memoir by Harold Brodkey
"The Devils And Canon Barham" Ten Essays on Poets, Novelists and Monsters by Edmund Wilson
"Budding Prospects A Pastoral" a novel by T. Coraghessan Boyle
"Funeral Rites" a novel by Jean Genet
Not much else to report so I will close to recovery from mowing our lawn.
