This evening when not wandering the house I have been reading, “Jubilee Hitchhiker: The Life and Times of Richard Brautigan” by William Hjortsberg.
Carol got up around 3 o’clock PM. I laid down for an hour in our bedroom once my wife was up for the day. When I got up from my nap around 4 o’clock PM the house was empty except for the dog. I took my daily hot shower and then settled down to reading the above book on the life and times of the poet and writer Richard Brautigan.
Everyone came home around 5:35 PM from walking downtown. Carol changed her clothes and went to church. So goes by existence. Tomorrow is a Monday. Do not know what we will do tomorrow? All one can do is wait to see what unfolds. Tomorrow we will be in the middle of the month. Before you can yell Amen! it will be July 2015. The last week of July Carol plans to fly out to Seattle Washington and visit our son Josiah and his wife Hannah. I will stay home to make sure our home is not destroyed by the Government. All my dreams are found inside this cave of ours. Plus I am not of this evil world system. I find nothing satisfying in this life/world.
Well I suppose I will close to wait for darkness to fall.
"[13] We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
[14] Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
[15] For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
[16] For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
[17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
[18] While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinth. 4:13-18
