Carol got home from work around 8:25 AM and has gone to bed. She is off the next four nights.
I have been reading this morning for devotions these books-
"The Good And Beautiful Community: Following The Spirit, Extending Grace, Demonstrating Love" by James Bryan Smith
"Sanctification: Explorations In Theology And Practice" Edited By Kelly M. Kapic
"Galatians And Christian Theology: Justification, the Gospel, and Ethics in Paul's Letter" Edited By Mark W. Elliott, Scott J. Hafemann, N. W. Wright, & John Frederick
Last night I messed with our main computer, listened to music, and read,"The Good And Beautiful Community: Following The Spirit, Extending Grace, Demonstrating Love" by James Bryan Smith. I do not feel comfortable with everything I read in Smith's book, "The Good And Beautiful Community" because the fellow is a Liberal. I plan to give this used book to the Herrick District Library used books store. Everybody as their trip to promote. I am just want to be biblical. I am not into any type of American spirituality. I just want to be real in Christ Jesus. "For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling" First Corinthians 2:2,3.
I have nothing to today but wait for the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord" 1 Thess. 4:16,17.
I might go visit more thrift stores this morning. I should go for a walk someplace, but I feel sick to my stomach. Well I will close to wait for the New Creation.
" If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:1-16
