the magic of words

It is in the divine flow 1:59 PM Friday afternoon. The sun came out this afternoon, but it is cold and windy. I left the house this morning and visited thrift stores to look at their used books. I found these used books to ADD to our book collection-

"The Age Of Missing Information" Cultural Studies by Bill McKibben

"The Woman Upstairs" a novel by Claire Messud (I have in our library another novel by Messud titled, "The Emperor's Children".)

"The Dead Circus" a novel by John Kaye

"Swimming Home" a novel by Deborah Levy

"Voyage In The Dark" a novel by Jean Rhys (I have two other novels by Jean Rhys, "Quartet" and "After Leaving Mr Mackenize".)

"Josephine: The Hungry Heart" biography by Jean-Claude Baker & Chris Chase
Josephine Baker

"Foe" a novel by J. M. Coetzee (I collect the writings of J. M. Coetzee.)

When I arrived home from my wanderings I cataloged my new used books into my LibraryThing site and then ate lunch. So has gone by existence.
