I had thus far a typical day. Carol and I went grocery shopping this morning. We were home from food gathering around 11:30 AM. After putting away supplies we ate lunch. After lunch I drove over to a local thrift store that takes old newspapers and old clothes to drop off a load. After dropping off the old newspapers and clothes I went inside the thrift store to look at their used books. I found two used books to bring home-
"The Columbia History Of The World" Edited by John A. Garraty and Peter Gay
"Snow" a novel by Orhan Pamuk (I read this novel a couple of years ago. My edition was a paperback, this used edition is a hardback. I collect all the writings of Orhan Pamuk a Turkish writer.)
When I got home Carol wanted to go for a walk at Stu Visser Trail since the sky was blue and the sun was shining. It got into the 50's today! We took Rudy with us for our walk in the woods. After walking at Stu Visser Trail Carol wanted to walk at Dutton Park, so we did that before coming home.
When we got home Carol suggested I do some yard work. So I worked outside for a couple of hours. Carol is sleeping presently because for the next three night she works. Existence keeps speeding by!
I have not had the presence of mind to read any of my books today. And right now I am extremely tired. So it looks like I am going to bed real early tonight. I will close to have a cup of coffee.
