Hawthorn Pond Natural Area

This afternoon my wife and I walked our dog Rudy at the Hawthorn Pond Natural Area. It was bitter cold! After walking at Hawthorn Pond Natural Area Carol wanted to go for a walk at Kollen Park. So we drove over to Kollen Park and walked around. I almost froze to death! We came home and Carol left for church. So goes the flow of existence. I am still feeling physically sick.

I almost forgot to mention while walking at Kollen Park a bald eagle flew over our heads. I was not able to get a picture of this eagle. In the past we have seen eagles at Kollen Park which is by Lake Macatawa. Lake Macatawa flows out to Lake Michigan. Eagles fish in these lakes.
