contemplativeRight now Carol is skyping Bethany and Louisa. I am sitting in my main study writing words. Next week Carol flies to Arizona to visit for 10 days Andy, Beth, and Lou. I will be home alone for 10 days. Time will go by in complete silence during those 10 days. Hopefully while Carol is gone I won't die in my sleep.
Today I have been reading mainly from these books when not wandering the house-

"Watergate" a novel by Thomas Mallon
Carol got home from having coffee with one of her cousins around 12:30 PM. She has this evening a class at the hospital from 6 PM till 10 PM.
In the mail today I received a book I pre-ordered last year titled, "Luke" III New Testament [Reformation Commentary On Scripture] Edited By Beth Kreitzer. I plan to look at this book this afternoon. I have in my main study a two volume modern commentary on the Gospel Of Luke titled-
"Luke 1:1-9:50" [Baker Exegetical Commentary On The New Testament] by Darrell L. Bock
"Luke 9:51-24:53" [Baker Exegetical Commentary On The New Testament] by Darrell L. Bock
Down in the lower level I have many commentaries on the Gospel of Luke. I have too many books. I have such a large Christian library/preaching and teaching library because I thought at one time I would spend all my days on earth being a Gospel Minister. But my life turned out radically different. I am now 62 years old spending my days talking to myself in a dark room.
Well I suppose I will close to wander and check out my new commentary on the Gospel of Luke/New Testament. The Lord is faithful.
While Carol was out with her cousin they stopped at a thrift store and Carol bought these Alphabet Nesting & Stacking Blocks for Louisa.
