the neon wilderness

It is 4:32 PM Monday afternoon. The sun disappeared this afternoon and it started snowing again.

I have had a quiet day. Do not know why I am writing here again my LJ. I must be restless or just over tired.

I have been reading this afternoon when not watching birds by our bird feeder or wandering the house from a book titled, "We Believe in One God" Volume 1 [Ancient Christian Doctrine] Edited By Gerald L. Bray.

I had to go to our Credit Union this afternoon to put some cash into our checking account. On the way home from the Credit Union I stopped at a thrift store to look at their used books. I found three used books to add to our library at this thrift store-

"What Is Left The Daughter" a novel by Howard Norman

"Under Milk Wood" a play with voices by Thomas Dylan

"The Neon Wilderness" Twenty-four Short Stories by Nelson Algren

Not much else to report this afternoon. Tonight I will watch television and go to bed around 11 o'clock PM. Tomorrow is a Tuesday in the flow of Time.
