My day went by quietly and painlessly. I am truly thankful for my life of middle-class comfort. I look all around me and see countless people in misery whereas we are richly blessed by our heavenly Father. I am thankful for my wife and many other things. I am thankful I can write these words in a warm house. On and on it goes when counting all the Lord’s blessings showered on us/the elect of God.
I did not do much today. The day went by normal. I did leave the house around 4 o’clock PM to go to a grocery store and then afterwards on the way home stopped at a thrift store to look at their used books. I bought two used books at this junk store-
“Will: The Autobiography of G. Gordon Liddy” by G. Gordon Liddy
“Malcolm Muggeridge: A Life” by Ian Hunter
I read this during the afternoon hours into the evening hours a historical fiction novel titled, “Watergate” by Thomas Mallon.
Well, I will cut this short to go watch a TV show and then go to dreamland.
