American the philosophical

It is 2:36 PM Thursday afternoon in the ice flow. Carol and I left the house this morning to look at baby clothes for our granddaughters Louisa and Josephine and go out for lunch. While we were out running around we visited thrift stores so I could look at their used books. I found these used books today to ADD to our library-

"The Radetzky March" a novel by Joseph Roth [A New Translation By Joachim Neugroschel With An Introduction By Nadine Gordimer]

Joseph Roth

"America The Philosophical" non-fiction by Carlin Romano

"Black Girl/White Girl" a novel by Joyce Carol Oates

"Twilight Of The Hapsburgs: The Collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire" by Z A B Zeman

"Summer Crossing" a novel by Truman Capote

"A Little Tour of France" travel by Henry James (A Picture Book)

Not much else to report. Carol has gone to bed for the day. I will write in my paper diary and stare off into space. Existence keeps zooming by!
