takes refuge in the unfathomable nature of the mystery

It is 7:23 PM Friday night. I am in my main study waiting it out. We have lived in this house going on 25 years. I have been coming to my main study for 25 years. When our children were growing up I spent a lot of time in here. When our children were growing up our two boys had the lower level as their bedroom and study/play area. Our daughter had her own bedroom upstairs across from our bedroom. Now the lower level is where we have our main library. Also down in the lower level is a sofa, a bed and study area a table piled with books and my old lap top computer. There is also a second bathroom down in the lower level. Down in the lower level is a laundry area and two large storage rooms. The largest storage room is where I have stored my diaries and some of our book collection. The lower level opens out to our backyard. There are windows and two doors facing our backyard. Our home is built on a small hill. Many years ago a creek ran through our yard/underground stream. Throughout our neighborhood are streams still visible from the streets.

I took a nap from 2 o'clock PM till 4:30 PM. Carol got up from sleeping around 6:10 PM. She is now messing with our main computer in the living room. I have been reading these books this evening-

"Job" Old Testament VI Ancient Christian Commentary On Scripture Edited By Manlio Simonetti & Marco Conti

"Moral Reflections on the Book of Job" Volume 1 "Preface and Books 1-5" by Gregory the Great Translated by Brian Kerns, OCSO

"An Exposition with Practical Observations upon Chapters 1-3 of the Book of Job" Delivered in 21 Lectures Volume 1 by Joseph Caryl (1602-1673)

Tomorrow is a Sunday the first day of another week. Existence keeps flowing. Today at the library people were wishing me a Merry Christmas. "Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited His people, and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David" Luke 1:68,69.

Well I suppose I will close to drift into the darkness. No way out.

"And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins" Matthew 1:21
