I did find the courage to go out and get some food. I drove downtown Holland and got myself two 14 inch submarine sandwiches to take home to eat. After I got my subs I took Rudy for a walk at Window On the Waterfront city park. After I walked I came home.
Carol called me back this evening to tell me they were now out of the labor room. She did not know what she was going to do this evening. She has to catch a plane out of Boston tomorrow morning and fly back to Michigan. Carol said she would call me in the morning. I still do not know how I am going to get to the Grand Rapids Airport to pick her up tomorrow evening because we are suppose to get a terrible thunder storm roll through tomorrow evening. I am totally terrified of driving in any bad weather! I do not know what I am going to do but feel sick to the center of my inner being.
Well not much else to report. This evening I gave Rudy a bath and have been cleaning the house. All I can do is wait in a state of terror. No way of escape.
