entrance into God's kingdom is predicated upon spiritual regeneration

It is 4:57 PM Thursday evening in the time flow. I have had thus far a normal day. I already mentioned today that this morning I took Rudy for a walk at Kollen Park after visiting thrift stores in search of used books. Next month we are going to a big used books sale in South Haven, Michigan. I wonder what we will find this year to ADD to our library.

This afternoon I mowed our lawn and hacked at plant growth in our back yard. Carol left for work around 3:45 PM this evening and should be home by 8:30 PM tonight.

Nothing came in the mail for me today.

Before mowing the lawn I read my books on the Gospel of John, "A Theology Of John's Gospel And Letters" by Kostenberger. So the day has gone by. Tomorrow is a Friday in the flow.

old diary entry History of Reading

"[1] There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
[2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." John 3:1-7
