I took my old van to the auto repair shop around 3 o'clock PM to have it checked over. I walked home from the auto repair shop, which is only a couple blocks from where we live. To be honest I do not like walking around our neighborhood. I do not like feeling exposed to the glares of strangers. I rather walk where only trees, birds, and flowers see me. I will walk in public places with my wife or early in the morning where there are not many people out and about.
I have been reading this afternoon a memoir titled, "The World of Yesterday" by Stefan Zweig [Newly translated by Anthea Bell].

I did plant today in our back yard my packets of wildflower seeds. Before I planted the wildflower seeds I poured out bags of fresh planting soil in the area where I grow wildflowers. I grow wildflowers so as to take pictures of them when they blossom. I love taking pictures of flowers.
Well not much else to report so I will close to drift into the evening hours. There is no way out.
