a stripper's farewell journey across America

Carol and I went out for lunch to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. While out having lunch we did some errands and visited thrift stores. I found these used books to add to our family library.

"Boswell's Life Of Johnson" paperback edition (I have a hardback edition of this classic in our library.)

"Strip City" A Stripper's Farewell Journey Across America by Lily Burana

"Cold Sassy Tree" a novel by Olive Ann Burns

"Cleopatra: A Life" biography by Stacy Schiff (I have in our library Schiff's biography "Vera (Mrs. Vladimir Nabokov)".)

"When Madeline Was Young" a novel by Jane Hamilton (I collect the writings of Hamilton.)

"The Water Is Wide" A Memoir by Pat Conroy (I collect the writings of Conroy.)

It is 4:32 PM I am too wasted to write this evening. I plan to go to bed early. Life is exhausting!

Tomorrow we will be in the middle of the month. There is no way of escape.
