I had a normal day. I did not go anywhere. I did not take a nap. I mainly watched birds by our bird feeder and read these books on the Acts of the Apostles (New Testament).
"Acts and the Isaianic New Exodus" by David W. Pao
"The Acts Of The Apostles" [The Pillar New Testament Commentary] by David G. Peterson
I am excited to know tomorrow I am suppose to get in the mail a book I ordered titled, "The Acts of the Risen Lord Jesus: Luke's Account of God's Unfolding Plan" by Alan J. Thompson.
I do not have anything to do tomorrow. It is suppose to be a sunny tomorrow so I might get a patch of ground in our backyard ready for wildflower seeds. This coming Thursday it is suppose to get in the 80's. Maybe it is time to plant wildflower seeds.
Carol is at work right now, but if off tomorrow night. We are growing old. Our days are numbered. Well I will close to go to bed and hope for the best.
The other day I discovered that volume 3 of Craig Keener's massive four volume commentary on the The Acts of the Apostles is coming out this coming summer. I have been reading for devotions volume 1 of Keener's massive commentary on Acts titled, "Acts: An Exegetical Commentary Introduction And 1:1-2:47" Volume 1. I also have volume 2 of Keener's exegetical commentary on Acts. So much to read before the Lord Jesus returns for His blood bought people.
