avoid the oblivion of the world's forgetfulness

It is 2:42 PM Saturday afternoon. The sun came out today, which is nice. It seems like the day has gotten away from me once again.

I got up this morning around 6:30 AM. I got up made a pot of coffee and then messed with our main computer. After checking my e-mail and reading blogs I wrote in my paper diary. Carol got up and I cooked us breakfast. After breakfast I read and went to the Herrick Public Library used bookstore to volunteer from 10 AM till 1 PM.

The book nook was slow so I read my books and wandered the store looking at book titles. I brought home two used books from the library book nook to add to our library.

I was home from the book nook around 1 o'clock PM. I ate lunch and now it is 2:46 PM. I am extremely tired so I will close to feel wasted.

At the library book nook today I read from these two books, "Proust At The Majestic: The Last Days Of The Author Whose Book Changed Paris" by Richard Davenport-Hines and "The Lure Of The Sea: The Discovery of the Seaside 1750-1840" by Alain Corbin. I brought home from the book nook these two used books to ADD to our library, "Parkland" On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy Was Assassinated. This Is The Story Of What Happened Next by Vincent Bugliosi and "Dining With Proust" is a virtuoso blend of food, literature, art, and history by Jean-Bernard Naudin, Anne Borred, & Alain Senderens.

Last night I read my books and watched television. I read from these books yesterday when not wandering the house.

"Hitch-22: A Memoir" by Christopher Hitchens

"The Image, or What Happened to the American Dream" by Daniel J. Boorstin

"The Acts Of The Apostles" [The Pillar New Testament Commentary] by David G. Peterson

Well now I feel really wasted! Time to go and face it.

Finally some tulips appeared in our front yard this afternoon.
