This morning I left the house to do an errand for Carol and to visit thrift stores in search of used books to add to our library.
I found these used books this morning at thrift stores.
"Diplomacy" by Henry Kissinger
"The Good Priest's Son" a novel by Reynolds Price
"The Lure Of The Sea: The Discovery of the Seaside 1750-1840" by Alain Corbin
"The Wapshot Chronicle & The Wapshot Scandal" two novels by John Cheever
"Studies In Classical And Byzantine Manuscript Illumination" by Kurt Weitzmann
While out today I stopped downtown Holland to visit the Full Music store to say hello to Steve the owner of this hole in the wall music store. While at the Full Music store I bought three used CD's for my music collection.
I was home from my wanderings around 12:10 PM. Now it is 3:59 PM in the flow of existence.
Not much else to report this afternoon. I am stressed out about Carol leaving this week for Arizona, but I understand her need to see our first grandbaby. Also Carol wants to help Bethany and Andy adjust to having a baby in their lives. Children bring a new dimension to ones marriage. Taking care of a newborn is a twenty-four hour job.
Well, I will close to suffer in silence. What else can I do but pray.
a painting titled 'The Monk by the Sea' by Caspar David Friedrich
