I had a super quiet day. Carol went to bed around Noon today and should be up by 6:30 PM to get ready for work. Lately I have been driving her to work, because she does not like scraping snow and ice off her car after getting out of work in the morning. It only takes me a few minutes to drive over to the hospital to pick her up. My wife has been a professional nurse going on 38 years.
Today I have mainly wandered the house and read, "Jesus Have I Loved, but Paul?: A Narrative Approach To The Problem Of Pauline Christianity" by J. R. Kirk. This book by Kirk is a condensed version of the book "A New Testament Biblical Theology" by G. K. Beale. When I read books like "Jesus Have I Loved, but Paul?", I wish I was a Teaching Elder in some post-modern evangelical Christian community. I miss not proclaiming the Good News of salvation to lost sinners. I do not know if I will ever go back to Covenant Presbyterian Church in America.
Well I suppose I have nothing else to report this evening. Tonight I will watch television and go to bed around 11 o'clock PM. When I go to bed at night I am always thankful for my warm bed. It is a divine blessing have a warm bed to sleep in at night. I want to have a warm bed in the new creation. It must be horrible to spend eternity in torment and not rest.
" Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Phil. 2:5-11
